The new floor would have to follow a subfloor repair. We opened the damaged area down to the joists and installed a new plywood patch, then fitted the new water resistant flooring above it. The finished gray floor is the visible part of the change. Beneath it, the repaired subfloor is an essential part of this bathroom's story.
